Brand New Digital Solution to Enhance Retail Planogram Implementation Launches

Talysis Ltd has developed ‘Planscan’ a brand-new digital solution to help convenience retailers implement and adhere to their in-store planogramming. The QR code-based system enables retailers to use any mobile device to securely access real-time planograms for any category.

The new solution works by attaching a QR code to any shelf / fixture in store. The code can then be scanned via a mobile or tablet to access the most recent online planogram for that fixture. Its simplicity means that any staff member or supplier rep can use it at any time, provided they have been granted access to the secure site.

As the planograms are hosted online it means any updates will be available as soon as they are uploaded, providing the opportunity for retailers to manage stock replenishment as well reflect latest product performance, category insights, key events and seasonality etc, on their fixtures in store.

The mobile enabled solution removes the need for staff members to leave the shop floor to print out the latest planogram, improving retail standards, fixture layout and saving costs.

Planscan was developed to complement Talysis’s current space planning service but can also be subscribed to as a standalone service.
