Over the last twelve months, Talysis has worked with the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, MFG, to upgrade its reporting tools for brands.

Talysis’s new reporting solution, delivered in partnership with MFG, has assisted the forecourt operator in making more data-driven decisions and has provided their customers with more possibilities and better category insights.
Solution
Talysis works with MFG to provide their clients with insights ranging from total store level and category reports down to SKU level reporting at a transactional level. This allows manufacturers to review their performance, compare it with their competitors and then make decisions based on the data. Talysis also provides a weekly distribution tracker showing sales of different SKUs, enabling manufacturers to alter distribution plans to maximise their sales performance. Talysis reports now enable manufacturers to review their promotions and analyse their success by looking at redemption or sales uplifts to facilitate future planning and learning from best practice.

The reports provided allow for clarity over sales and performance, whilst enhancing the relationship between MFG and its clients. By providing a complete overview of the MFG estate as well as store level analysis, manufacturers can create tailored action plans for stores, based on their individual performance. The range of reports ensures that all functions within the business can benefit from the data and manufacturers can choose to buy into different levels, depending on priorities.
